NFL: I know most people are nostalgic for things in the game that are gone, like hard hits, etc. But in terms of being able to watch all the games on red zone, the advent of hi-def TV, and the peripheral stuff like playing fantasy football and sports betting, and the fact that the Ravens have been good for much of the last quarter century, I'm going to say we've never had it better and go with the last 10 years (2015-2025). I enjoy NFL football as much as I ever have.
MLB: I'll go with 1973-1983. It was when I was growing up, the Orioles won 90+ games every single non-strike year. Nostalgia all the way.
NCAAF: I'll go 1995-2005. Just for the Hokies, but also because going to bowl games when they meant something and were all in warm weather locations was a big party with two fanbases present, and it was still possible for a VT or a WVU or a BYU to come out of nowhere and at least have a shot at winning a championship.
NBA: I don't care at all about it today, and was never a big fan, but at least I watched the playoffs in the Jordan years. 1984-1994.
NHL: Don't really follow hockey.
NCAA Basketball: was a casual fan before I came to VT in the Metro conference era then really fell in love with the sport. So I'll go 1983-1993. The Big East was great back then too.

Here's mine, not too dissimilar to yours (I'm guessing I'm a bit younger).
