Visited Mount St. Helens last fall. Here's what it looks like now.

The eruption blew out the side of the mountain and the debris field was 17 miles long and 2 miles wide. Scientists who positioned themselves 6 miles away to record the eruption were killed. Second photo is of the debris field today.
