Founder Lifetime

Here’s the backstory:

My sister, VT 1986 Metallurgical Engineer, has a Foundry Board meeting this week hosted by Purdue University. She invited my wife and I to ride shotgun on the ten hour drive to West Lafayette, Indiana. Having never really spent any time in the state, we happily joined in. Today, we walked around the campus. It reminded me a lot of VT. Campus is large, but contained. The campus town, West Lafayette, reminds me of Blacksburg. Immediately across the Wabash River is the city of Lafayette. It reminds me of Christiansburg. All told, this is a thoughtful, beautiful place. We especially enjoyed getting a frosty mug of Triple XXX root beer and chopped steak sandwich at Triple XXX Family Restaurant ** Edited by Newt at 4/29/2025, 5:29:31 PM

Is Rose-Hulman a private school?
EDGEMAN 04/29/25 05:53 PM ET
Rose is private but one of the top privates for engineering in the country…
