Had knee replaced 2 years ago this May

I'm fairly motivated and did not use the machine. I was working out the next day Biggest thing that helped me was the ice machine. Its like a little cooler you fill with ice and water and it circulates cold water through the soft wrap on your knee. I did that constantly. I did get a walker (remember the tennis balls for the legs so you dont scratch floor). Didn't use it very long as I switched to cane asap. One thing the walker did help with was the bathroom. Easier to get up and down. First week or two was hard for shower as the one I was using is a bathtub bottom. Hard to get leg over side. Best advice. Listen to your PT. Both of mine were great. Also I did have issues with medicine early on. Pretty much ate crackers with a little soup first few days. Good luck. You can do it and in a few months you will feel better. I still have pain but no where near what I had with bone on bone.
