I didn't follow this closely... At all... But I gotta say I didn't

Understand how he was being charged. Guy was not responsible for loading or checking the gun. They literally hire someone who's job it is to guarantee the gun is safe and only loaded with blanks. He's probably done dozens of movies/shows where he "shot" someone. And there was never any reason to think the gun used specifically for pretend on a movie set would suddenly have a live bullet. Like, if they are shooting a scene where he pushes someone in a pool... And he pushes someone in the pool but the pool happened to be filled with acid that day for some inexplicable reason.... Is he to blame?

It should be simple. If the gun is in your hand, then you have to be

Why was it in his hand? Part of a rehearsed scene? I forget.**

I feel like that has been disputed. I've heard he was practicing a scene or

i wonder if there was any dispute between him and the lady he killed ?

Or it was simply a tragic accident without any conspiracy behind it. And

Does that include people making movies?
HokieGator 07/13/24 10:27 PM ET
Yep, not all actors are gun owners**
HokieForever 07/14/24 07:38 PM ET
This was my take too. Yes in everyday life you don't point guns at people
AbsolutVT03 07/13/24 10:55 PM ET
I believe that at that range, a blank could have done some serious damage.**

I agree with Gator. He really had no reason to check.**

Was he a producer on this film? If so, is that the reason for the trial?
