They still want around 22K for these things. You will save about 60% on

energy cost to drive by my math, which for me would be $2,700 / year. Payback would be 9 years so not really worth the sacrifice to drive something that would be risky to use if the need for emergency or unusual travel arose. You can not tow **** for long distances and you would be hesitate to drive more than 100 miles from the house for fear you might not make it back.
