Friday night I am seeing a more "young person" band called Dry Cleaning,but if there are 400 people at the show I will be surprised, and this is a show in a club for a band from the UK who has real listeners on Spotify Yes, I will probably see Sammy Hagar this summer as he is playing near my house with Satriani. I am in my late 50's btw. Last weekend I saw a Pretenders and a Cars tribute band. I play drums in a Cheap Trick tribute band that rocks btw. So what are people who are 27 today, gonna go see when they are 57? Will there even be a nostalgia thing? I feel like there are only these pop acts today and flame out quick and I don't see Taylor Swift playing gigs as an old lady. My parents had no real love for the idols of their youth when they were my age so maybe things will change a lot, as they always have. I think about 65 to 95 was probably something that will never happen again, at least not for 50 more years...
