This committee decision is going to be interesting
I believe it was inferred that making a conference championship game, especially and SECCG, would not result in a penalty. Alabama is on their way to a blowout loss. We may see if this true. As if the Miami/ND decision isn't controversial enough.

You can't just mail it in. All results matter. Vandy would have loved to played in this game.

Why is it OK that a borderline playoff team like BYU or Alabama gets the ability to clinch a spot in the playoff with a win, but there’s no penalty for a loss?
I’ve generally been bought into the notion that a team shouldn’t be penalized for losing in their conference championship game, but I’m not so sure.

Vandy would like to be playing but I'm sure Ole Miss, Oklahoma, and A&M are fine where they are.

And I know it is bad for the ACC is Duke wins, but could that put JMU in? I'd love to see that. Let the controversy rage!
