Looking ahead to next year, graduation is going to be our best friend
Weed out the older less talented players and helps make room for guys who can actually contribute

I'm curious how well Rudolph is developing our young O-linemen. Lookin at this year's line, really hope there are several young guys ready to step into their starting roles.

We still see Gallo out there and he looks like he’s running in mud, they continue to play holston over Duke and Black. They keep starting Murray over Delane and Johnson.
Graduation will force them to make the corrections and play those guys who are clearly better

It's Thomas, King, then Duke.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him start the next game. Believe Murray starts because he knows the defense better, but Delane is more talented.
A lot of the younger players played in the second half today, and probably will going forward.

They insist on letting Holston drop the ball instead

I’m referring to bringing in portal guys that are better

it will be interesting to see if he has secured prospects that can be developed for specific roles on the team. This is something Fuente really struggled to do - he grossly mismanaged the roster. I think if Pry works with a slight uptick year over year while getting guys he can develop then things will get better. My biggest frustration is that the entire team, from coaches to players, simply do not control the things they can control (pre-snap penalties, clock mismanagement, dropped passes, whiffed tackles and things like that). Take care of what you can take care of and when the dust settles, win or lose, I do think we would look like a different team.

There’s some talent in there. I believe they are recruiting the right skill / tool sets for what they want and need.
But VT absolutely without question needs to work the portal in the off-season in key positions.

is 100% developmental guys it means you really can't miss on any of them. And that's where Beamer and Co. were so good. They filled up about 70% of the roster with developmental guys and then either got those diamonds in the rough or legitimate 4* or 5* kid that could be a game changer. We don't have a single kid on the roster or committed who can be a game changer.
