Toss up between Matt Ryan comeback and JMU

The BC game was absolutely heartbreaking and I don’t think I have ever been as wet walking to the car afterwards. We were totally soaked. The JMU game was frustrating in a different way - no way should we ever lose that game. I was working for Advance Auto Parts at . the time and because we were a big sponsor, my wife and I had an invitation to go to Frank Beamer’s house afterwards. I was so mad that I wasn’t going to go, but my wife said I would always regret it if I didn’t, so we went. I walked in the front door, still absolutely furious and Cheryl met us with the sweetest smile, telling us how much it meant for them for us to come. Frank arrives a few minutes later with his folksy style (“man, some days it just doesn’t pay to get out of bed”) and all was quickly forgiven. He went on to say that he had a very good football team and that the last time VT started 0-2, they won the next 10 games. The same thing happened that year. 😀
