A good leader hires a staff to supplement his weak points.

As a HC with absolutely no experience being the head man, Pry should have brought in coordinators who were not also learning on the job. As someone who only had experience on the defensive side of the ball, he should have hired an experienced, innovative OC, rather than the TE coach from last year's absolute worst NFL staff. The team does not appear to have improved, from an effort or execution standpoint, from what we saw in last year's debacle of a bowl game. Returning VT players are grading out lower than they did last year. Players who transferred in (Wells, Blue) are playing worse than they did at their previous schools. I'm sorry, Pry is a likeable guy, but at this point he and his learning-on-the-job staff are simply not getting it done.
