That might save ND about $175 million dollars...

If...if ND has decided to join the Big Ten, kicking ND out would cause the ACC to forfeit the exit fee, any possible GOR settlement money and any damages for ND breaching the contract that says if it joins any conference for football before 2036, it has to be the ACC. I think that under this scenario, Jack Swarbrick would be smiling on the phone while Jim Phillips told him the ACC is kicking ND out of the conference. If ND has decided to stay independent, then the same will apply and ND will put its minor sports in the Big East
