5.75% NIL bonus for VA recruits in TX, TN and FL

Virginia income tax rate of 5.75% vs 0 in TX, TN or FL. I expect those details escape most youngsters but perhaps not their agents or parents. [There are 6 other states without income tax but I doubt money plugs the difference between competing in Miami vs Anchorage, et al] Could be worse. Sam Darnold is said to lower after tax income after winning the Super Bowl in CA than he would have had he not appeared in Super Bowl; negative net pay for appearing his winning performance.
