The conventional wisdom is that VT has him and the final details are being worked out. I believe Monday aligns with a BOV meeting as well. Occam’s razor says he’s the guy. I’m inclined to believe that is the case. That said, the report indicates a decision will be made early in the coming week re: Franklin and VT is continuing a full coaching search. This aligns with earlier signals that VT was getting tired of waiting on him so putting him on a clock makes sense. We’ve also heard 3 other coaches were interviewed last week. This shapes up to be VT telling Franklin to go or get off the pot because we’ve got other options who won’t jerk us around. I posted earlier today Thamell doesn’t report maybes and this outcome would still make his report credible. Stay tuned as this saga may still have another chapter to play out.
