Walmart & Tyson family are supposedly pouring in money to make it happen. Personally, I don’t think a team that’s never played for a conference championship in 33 years since joining the SEC precludes them from consideration and not even come close in the playoff era but that is potentially a lot of money. I’m also not on the Franklin or Bust train and have never been a big fan of him and his ego, so going to Arkansas to end his career as an elite coach is fine by me. I’d much rather have superior Xs and Os/gameday guys with a big budget and a crafty GM (aka Mullen and Chesney). The silence is deafening at this point so negotiations are over no matter what. VT has its coach and we’ll find out who he is the week of Thanksgiving.
