My High School Sports Hall of Fame has jumped shark

A classmate who was a solid, but just that- nothing more, athlete was inducted last year. A 3 tool baseball player, with a way below average arm. A good,solid football player, but no honors above district that I recall. A wrestler but no state titles. To me, hall of fames should be a "oh yeah no doubt" honor.
