Shout out to VT Men’s Club D1AA Rugby
Beat BC in the D1AA national quarter finals. Played Bowling Green in the semi-finals. Lead 18-17 at end of regulation but a penalty gave Bowling Green the ball and they kicked a FG to win it. One play away from the National Championship game v Kentucky! Very hard fought game, VT represented well finished season 9-1-1. Since 2021 they’ve won 2 D1AA national titles and went to semis twice. Should move up in the final rankings from #6.
