Winning in College Football

I have read all the criticism about our loss to ODU and much of it is deserved. Let's put it in perspective by comparing our performance to UNC's. They won big vs a FL A&M team, with a depleated roster, after struggling until the3rd qtr. Then they LUCKED OUT and won 63-61 vs App State. That game was over if their QB had just lobbed the first 2 pt attempt to the receiver, and it could have easily gone to OT if the defender had not grabbed the QB's jersey at the end. Heels are 2-0 and Fat Mac is all smiles at the end. They just gave up 61 pts and were lucky to win. (They will be lobbying for top 25 votes.) The point is that winning in FB is often about luck or lack thereof. Had we not made that bad snap and then not recovered the ball, it would have been a 10 pt difference. We only lost by 3. Let's not be too harsh in our criticism after one game. I know, woulda, coulda, shoulda, but that's the way it is. We got several questionable PI calls which hurt us and this could have also changed the L to a W. Look at the positives. Our defense played well enough to win. ( I will take our D over one that just gave up 61 pts and luckily won ) I am not going to give up on this team after this one game.
