VT Unlikely to Jump from ACC, even if offered.

Did not know this, but, per P&D this AM, there is a huge financial moat around Tech and the rest of the ACC if they bolt from the conference. All TV monies earned are the ACC's until 2035. So, even if the SEC wanted Tech, and vice versa, all the money that it would bring to VT, and it is a ton of money, goes to the ACC. That changes the calculus...maybe. Personally, I think Tech is well-suited for the ACC. Hope it can remain as a viable conference. Not sure we fit with the SEC, even if they come a calling. 2nd law of thermo : Change is inevitable, and trends to chaos.
