Interesting but I object to some of their methods and conclusions

This report is using NFL Draft Status and First Team All American Honors as their benchmark. There is a lot of bias involved with both the draft and post-season honors. Players from bigger schools tend to get more attention and they are more likely to get drafted or to be named to post-season all-star teams. There are a lot of NFL busts and a lot of players make the teams as undrafted free agents. I keep track of the number of seasons played by NFL draftees and UDFA's. I have found that the average NFL career is roughly five years for the three, four and five stars. Many of the VA players have not finished their careers so the data is not complete. There are a lot of great players who have been snubbed by both the NFL and the various postseason all-star teams. This report is also from a decade earlier than mine before the transfer portal and NIL.
