FWIW the Golden Bears are a member of the NAIA and compete in the River

States Conference. They don't sponsor football, but they do sponsor basketball and a few other sports that VT sponsors. Interesting and oddly enough they included an intrasquad game (Feb. 7th) on the regular season schedule for some reason. Since NCAA schools are allowed to play NAIA schools in sports, I wonder if VT would consider playing them in any sport. It might be a fun once in a blue moon situation given the school is located in Beckley.
