That's my suspicion.

I also think Freeze won't prove to be quite as good a coach as Willis made him look.

Sure, he upset VT with Liberty talent and a first round QB. But Fuente also beat Freeze's bought-and-paid-for Ole Miss team with Memphis talent and a first round QB.

He's a solid coach, IMO, but nothing more.
