NC State may have a similar relationship with the country and could have been planning to do the same thing. Most likely the "promotion" would have been nothing more than the announcers doing a filler segment during the game where they may have showed a video clip of the players visiting the university and then they talk about UVA's (or NC State's) said relationship with the Braisilian school.
