You did make the following statement,

"There will be 15 p4 teams and the one g5 team when it goes to 16." That statement implies that it is a done deal and that the Gs agreed to the change because that is the only way the FBS Playoffs can go from the current format of 12 teams to 16 teams. You can't provide a plausible scenario where the same result is achieved without the support from the Gs.
