Then why do you assume the Gs would agree to it since you believe

"There will be 15 p4 teams and the one g5 team when it goes to 16?" It doesn't sound like the Gs would benefit from the change because all that additional money would be going into the P2s' pockets. The only thing the P2s can offer the Gs to get them to agree to the change is to give them more slots in the expanded playoffs. However, you just said this year's playoffs was a fluke and it will never happen again in the next 50 years. So which will it be; the Gs get multiple bids in exchange for giving what the P2s what vs. the playoffs remains at 12 teams? Because the Gs are in the perfect position where they don't have to compromise and they would be foolish to give in unless the P2s and ESPN are giving them the moon.
