Does $200 million over 4 years really mean that?

Especially when half of it is a bump athletics philanthropy...at a university with a $2 billion annual budget? We're talking like 1-2% of the university budget being kicked in by the "academic side"... that's indicative of critical? It is the path large universities are on. History is riddled with popular paths that don't end well. Following it no more guarantees academic success than deviating guarantees academic struggles.
