Yes, but my point is that timing is an important factor now. If a program

waits for the perfect time to make a move, then it likely misses the bus and ends up stuck behind the 8-ball because it squandered precious time. Even if VT replaced Babcock with another AD who gets it, then there is nothing the AD can do to make up for that lost time. VT could get better and still not change the perception that it can't win enough marquee games on the big stage. If that is the case, then has VT truly gotten "better?"
