When do people age out of this type of thinking? He's a competitor who was

quoted as the following: "After this game versus Tech, after we beat Virginia Tech, this program is going to shoot up and everyone in the country is going to know about us." So, he was dead wrong and got his comeuppance by losing the football game that even if they won, not everyone in the country would know about them. I just find it weird that some middle aged man has deemed this guy a douche, deserving of no respect. Is it possible maybe you're the douche?
