the spotlight because it may truly want just a P2 playoff so it is trying to rally public support for the idea. First, by ditching the Gs. Then by ditching the ACC, Big XII, and Pac-12 when the P2s add the cream from that crop. What I am curious to see is how ESPN plans to pull this off while the 10 FBS conferences and Notre Dame are still co-owners. Does ESPN plan to fund the P2s so they can buyout the other conferences at various times? If not, then does the P2s plan to not renew its commitment to the current non-profit organization when the contract comes up for renewal? How does ESPN and P2s plan to avoid violating antitrust laws to achieve this goal?
