Not sure if this is why, but it separates the excitement from the sticker

shock. If the high $ amount is icky, it might help to separate it from the excitement of the press release. Even if it's not icky, don't mix the excitement around the hire with financial talk. Let James Franklin get the headlines and the money stuff come later. But I'm not a marketing guy, so my opinion means nothing.
