As you have for decades you keep trotting out the same nonsensical argument

If your issue is "unfair taxes" and "46%" then what VT spends in salaries is irrelevant - the principal is that any increase for sports is unfair. And it's a nonsensical argument because you basically ignore that JMU's truly exorbitant student fees support much, much lower coaching / admin salaries and somehow think that would be better for the students? Of course the irony is that if VT were to scale back football expenses to JMU levels we'd be forced to raise student fees to JMU levels due to the decrease in revenue when we were basically jettisoned from the ACC and landed in the A-10 (with no BEFC revenue this time). Craig Christ, give it a rest already. Your position is defensible, and I somewhat agree with it while recognizing the extra $100 a year ain't crap regardless of whether your rich parents pay for school or you borrow 100% to attend. But more relevant to the argument, you have never supported the VT football program, never believed in it as a revenue driver for the VTAD, and don't contribute while calling VT fans out for not supporting the program. Damn, I may have to re-subscribe just to get the hell away from you again. It was nice here till you got booted (AGAIN) Rama.
