I've just never really seen a star, drop back QB at VT in 35 years

So, I don't get too excited when we sign them. Not saying it can't happen, but I'll believe it when I see it. You just can't have many holes in your offense to execute at a high level with a pocket QB. I realize, we're in a new era now, but...call me gun shy. Dual threat QB's can cover for a lot of shortcomings in talent, depth, execution, and coaching. Even Druck...he wasn't whipping the ball all over the field. He threw maybe 20x or less a game...mostly play action downfield, with some curls and button hooks worked in.
