Ummm he has DC experience? People are just making stuff up at this point.

Do you think every school (even the blue bloods) always get their "primary candidate"? FWIW it doesn't sound like he was very far down the list (top 5). But none of that matters. If he succeeds here no one is going to be like "Well sure but he wasn't the primary candidate".
