Maybe he wants to improve his draft stock and transferring to a SEC school

will better help him reach that goal. At least the narrative seems to be the level of competition is better in the SEC than Big Ten particularly when you factor in how many players from each conference have been drafted in the NFL Draft. I believe the SEC has more players drafted in the earlier rounds than the Big Ten.
