The top teams might want to stay in the ACC if they can have an easier path to postseason play and they can keep their postseason rewards. This is the success initiative. I can sort of get behind since excellence is rewarded. The one I don't understand is the viewership initiative. Why did university presidents vote for the viewership initiative when most programs lose out. That's the one where they allocate 60% of the TV revenue based on five years of viewership numbers. Viewership numbers are not reliable and there is a lot of hate-watching.
