He single handedly saved our recruiting class in a weekend by himself with a handful of staffers. I don't think anyone else we hired could have accomplished that. He also has us on the radar for blue chip recruits next year that couldn't have cared less about us before. As for his hires, I think who we have from PSU at this point is all we're getting, but I feel like we have made good hires and trust that the upcoming additions will also be good hires. We have an awful lot to clean up, and it feels like too many of us are shouting, "you missed a spot" while the man is working. I just don't think Franklin is anywhere near as communicative as Pry was, that doesn't mean that his coaching hires or portal additions are going to be bad, or that something has gone wrong.
