I completely agree. The guy wasnt even in Blacksburg last season.
To expect him to magically fix the program in the middle of the season when he hasn't even been with the team for a full season is insane. I doubt Nick Saban himself could cobble together a winning record with this team if dropped into the same situation.
I'm not suggesting Montgomery should be the permanent head coach, but to pin any blame on him for not correcting the plethora of problems that have plagued the program for over a decade is simply unreasonable, in my opinion.
