I miss the days when there was none of this “targeting” nonsense.

We were taught to not spear someone and keep your head on a swivel. Defense was always on the hunt to “break someone up”. Big, destructive hits were part of the game. If you laid someone out, they remembered it the next time and it impacted their play.
