I think pulling the Tyrod RS was huge, we got mauled by LSU anyway, and 1

more year of Tyrod would have been fantastic for both Virginia Tech and Tyrod. Tyrod like Ronald Curry who also didn’t Red Shirt got the injury bug. That one year of putting muscle on the body without hits on the body matters a lot. It’s not just in football, but because of violent hits in football, it makes a big difference.
