It’s time for Whit to go IMO… but athletics have done just.enough over the past decade to help Whit keep his job. Every 2 years or so the athletics dept has had a positive: Fuente went to a ACCcg Baseball hosted a super regional Basketball won ACCT Women’s Basketball Final 4 Track/swimming/wrestlers won individual national titles Etc But football has been a .500 program since Whit took over. And he tanked the hoops team with NIL last season. It’s probably too late already, but the VT Athletics Dept. needs a reset ASAP. Clean house. ** Edited by kingofcassell at 4/11/2025, 9:02:49 PM
