Drove over with my two daughters for a 2 day party fest! Photos linked

Those were some heady times...living in the heart of Seminole Country was so much fun for one of the few and proud Hokie alumni living here then. Good natured honks and Seminole chops everywhere I went for two weeks prior to the game (my car was "game ready" the day after the matchup was announced). The local Vet truck in photo had quite the creative display on top- they won the game but did not spear Mike Vick!! Game day afternoon we went to a courtyard behind a bar on B-Street for keg beer drinking and socializing. We met Jim Kelly who had retired two years prior and was there with some buds just taking in the big game. He was excited to see Mike Vick play in person. He is such a nice man and who knew the medical challenges he was going to have to live through. I was also fortunate to attend the '95 and '03 game with my brother (RIP)...good memories!
