This includes player personnel, (how the group trains together), recruiting, and game day situation. I would submit Marve and Crook had several areas that were deficient, (with Crook, almost all is group is leaving)... The rest of the staff has redeeming qualities. However, he's going to allow the the new DC to evaluate and give feedback, but it will still be Pry's final call. No way Quiin leaves the program, he's as a BOMB on the recruiting side and player personnel situation. Preleau, my take is 50-50. He lost alot of his group to the portal, and frankly had some challenges building the group. (also that could be due to inadequate strength and conditioning). I think we have our Strength and Conditioning director in house, however, he's going to have to demonstrate, he's not just a weight guy, but has to supervise a 20-40 person team, that oversees weight development, health and nutrition, maintain database of each player development, and ensure weekly reports are given to the position coaches, with recommendations. I think the previous guy, got the information on the players, and gave it to the position coaches and didnt do anything himself. another thing, VT is not lacking for money for getting a great candidate for either OL coach or DC, but they want a solid Return of Investment. and what they are going to do at VT.
