every single year Pry has been the HC. He does not have a single 4 star recruit in his class. Ranking on 247 2022 - 43 2023 - 44 2024 - 47 2025 so far - 48 No wonder Pry is unable to win any 1 score games. You need talent to win the close games, and its obvious the talent pool is shrinking. Pry's days are numbered. He might win against UVA but then lose the bowl game and still finish with another losing season. Not only has he been a substandard coach, but his recruiting has been worse than Fuente's whose average class was ranked 38. He will lose 8 starters on defense including the entire 2 deep on the defensive line. Watch next years defense do its best imitation of a sieve. I believe we lose 14 of 22 starters including our starting RB, all our starting WR's, and probably Drones as well. I don't think he'll win more than 4 games next year, but at least this nightmare will be over. I think the fans' patience with him is at an end. Next year will be Pry's last year. If he hadn't made incredibly bone headed decisions like hiring completely inexperienced OC and DC who happened to be close personal friends, he might have generated some good will to let him survive this, but he didn't and there is none. If he hadn't picked a QB coach who has never played or coached QB position before, or never paid his unqualified friends salaries near the top of the ACC at the time of their hiring with no justification, there might be more good will. If he were an ace recruiter bringing in top classes to make up for his deficiencies, there might be some good will.
