Boomers and Gen X’ers love free market capitalism

and like to decry socialism but then whine and cry when their favorite entertainment option changes because they moved closer to a free market. It’s the fan’s fault. We value college athletics so much that we helped to create a gargantuan industry that, given their dirt cheap labor, were putting money into useless miniature golf courses and lazy rivers so they could continue to recruit future dirt cheap labor. The bubble burst, here we are… Has it made following the players and understanding the next year’s roster infinitely more annoying. It sure has, but I’m not going to blame it on stud athletes that never had to worry about participation trophies like our genetically inferior children did…
