couple of years to continue to develop. He has NBA athleticism but definitely not NBA skill. Mavs will hold his rights to see if he can refine his skills to have an NBA profile off the bench. I don't think he'll ever shoot well enough to be a regular rotational NBA player but there are other parts of his game he can improve to maybe carve a role.

the story. How did he look out there?

dunk with his head up near the rim and banked the 3. I remember at least one nice block. I don't recall him putting the ball on the floor after a rebound, looked to pass it like a hot potato. Summer League seems to be a chucker's affair, so if you don't have the ball you aren't doing much on the stat line. I wouldn't say Tobi played bad, but he just wasn't a huge presence. With a guy like Morez Johnson Jr looking extemely strong in his first outing, I'm guessing that Tobi is facing an uphill battle to make this roster. G-League for a couple years is probably his ceiling right now.
