Like several on this Board, winning the ACC MBB championship was a 50 year old dream realized.
A lot of fairly good North Carolina high school basketball players have played in the ACC, David Thompson and Michael Jordan to name two, so I can only surmise that NC high school basketball is pretty good.
That Mr. Wessler is the #1 high school senior in the state on North Carolina strikes me as significant. And he’s gonna be a Hokie.
I have not portal envy. We got a guy.

I heard Top 5 but not #1. I also heard he was raised to a 4 star. He's gonna contribute this season.

Although i did read his coach at Combine called him POY in state

he'll be the real deal. It might be good to have a grad. transfer for him to learn under the first year and then he can take over in the 2nd year (or late 1st year if he develops really quickly).
