Growing up in the 60s and going to high school in the early 70s and then VT in the late 70s, we had a winning year every year except for the .500 season the year after our '73 NIT Championship. No, we don't have the trophy case that UNC or Duke has but we've won a ton of games over the years. Except for the Bill Foster oasis, our worst years were from the late 80s until Greenberg got here and then the two year Johnson debacle - other than those years, we have been consistent winners. I do understand for younger fans that we have not been near as good as football was during the 90s and 00s. I guess it is all perspective.
