Glad to hear the family is better.

Many students on campus knew what was going on with the family. It appears many were much more supportive than some of the grown fans. I’ve seen this struggle within my own family and many others. Darius taking a step away to help his own family shows me he has his priorities and did what he thought he needed to do to help. If a young man can do that while getting criticism from others who aren’t knowledgeable about the situation then I’ll tip my hat to him. It was a tough season for him on the court too. I’m sure it was not the season he wanted. I’m confident he’ll get through the adversity on and off the court. I hope he’s back next year. And if he’s not I’ll cheer for him wherever he goes.
