I’d say that segment is equal or close to what many local sports casters produce. My one suggestion would be to keep his natural talking pattern the whole time. He was at his best at the very beginning and end when it was more natural. The middle segments you could hear him being more scripted. I know, nobody likes a critic and I should shut my whiskey hole. He is just really advanced and doesn’t need much to go from good to great. On a related note, DC is very similar on his written reporting in terms of being very advanced and polished.
