Look, I think there is some qualifying that needs to be in that statement.

Not to mention - if Tony Bennett speaks highly of you, you’re doing something right. I think MY is a top 3 coach right now in ACC. It’s Bennett, MY and Hubert Davis. Bennett and Young each are in the same position early on in their tenures. MYs best teams (just like last year) are always going to be senior laden old teams. So every 3/4 years they’ll be the “successful” years (high acc finishes, tourney and beyond etc). But the in between years, like this year, the floor is a bubble team, even if Cattoor isn’t hurt, is this team at 4-4, 5-3 in acc? After a weak OOC and weak ACC, that leads to bubble life. The ACC championship is what hurt the most ironically, it propelled expectation way too high way too quick. It took Bennett a good 4 years, and it will take MY the same.
